age 64 of Carroll, died Monday November 12, 2007 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. She was born May 27, 1943 in Wayne County, Nebraska the daughter of Raymond and Levada (Clark) Harmeier.

She attended Wayne High School at Wayne. She married Donald Rohde on December 5, 1960 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Winside. She farmed with her husband in the family’s farming operation outside of Carroll. She loved to sew, quilt, working outside on the farm and playing cards. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and community.

Jerene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Randolph, United Methodist Women, a Lay speaker for the United Methodist Church, a Volunteer at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Randolph for Spa Day and Crafts and Church services.

Survivors include her husband Donald Rohde of Carroll; 3 Children Daneen Rohde of Jacksonville, Fl; Dureen and Richard Thill of Chicago, IL; Gregory Rohde of Newcastle, NE; 7 Grandchildren Cassie, Adam and Emily Thill; Lukas, Kirk, Keith and Nicole Rohde; 1 Brother: Richard and Clara Harmeier of Whittier, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Don Harmeier.
