Eunice Pinnt, 81, Springfield, MO, passed away on July 7, 2010 at the Springfield Rehab and Health Care Center in Springfield, MO.

Eunice Lydia Wilma Pinnt was born in Colome, SD on September 4, 1928 to the late Rev. Otto A. Pinnt and his wife Lydia (Harms) Pinnt. She moved to Avon, SD in 1929, where her father was Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church. She attended Zion Lutheran Grade School and Avon High School. She moved to Norfolk NE in 1954 with her mother following her father's death. She baby-sat for many different children and always did beautiful embroidery work, winning numerous 1st place ribbons in County Fairs etc. Her leisure time was spent playing many different card or board games with her nieces and nephews and collecting Salt and Pepper sets.

She later lived in the Stanton Nursing Center and St. Joseph Nursing Home in Norfolk NE and since 2001 in Springfield Rehab and Health Care Center in Springfield, MO.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Ruby Pinnt, her brother-in-law Rev. Leland Teuscher , and nephew Tim Teuscher. Survivors include brothers Rev. Walter Pinnt, Stanton, NE, Ronald and Shirley Pinnt, North Freedom, Wis, Vernon and Betty Pinnt Yuma, AZ, and sister Charlotte (Pinnt)Teuscher Springfield, MO., also 16 nieces and nephews, 38 Great nieces and nephews and 22 Great-Great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorial gifts can be given to The Orphan Grain Train - Norfolk or The Lutheran Hour.

Funeral Services: Faith Lutheran Church – Stanton, Nebraska
Date: Monday July 12, 2010 – 10:30 A.M.
Interment: Stanton Cemetery – Stanton, NE
Visitation: 9:30 A.M. Monday until service time at Faith Lutheran Church in Stanton; Arrangements by Shultz-Vogel-Johnson Mortuary – Stanton, NE
