Mildred M. Sellon, age 87 of Randolph, died Monday April 19, 2010 at Colonial Manor of Randolph. She was born to Wilhelm and Luise (Lutjen) Vogt on the 12th of May 1922 of rural Hartington, NE.
Mildred grew up in the Pearl Creek area and attended Pearl Creek School. She went to School in Omaha and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. She married John D. Sellon on August 12th 1944 at her parent's home. They made their home in the Randolph Community after John's return from the service.
Mildred was active in St. Johns Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Her family was her main interest and enjoyment.
Mildred is survived by her three children Dennis and Mary Sellon of Blair; Diann Sellon Gliem of Omaha; Denise And David Dowling of Hartington; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 2 sisters-in-law.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 sisters and their husbands and 1 sister-in-law and 3 brothers-in-law.
