Margaret "Maggie" Tinker of Pilger, age 62, passed away at Creighton University Medical Center on Friday April 2, 2010 following a traffic accident.
Maggie was born in Newton, Kansas on October 20, 1947 to William and Norma (Whitney) Spradlin. The family moved to Nebraska where Maggie attended public school, graduating From Plattsmouth High School in 1965.
As an adult, Maggie worked various jobs including 18 years at Dale Electronics. After living and working in the Pilger area for the past 26 years, Maggie enjoyed working for Lloyd's Drug Mart in Norfolk.
On June 1, 2003, Maggie married Tim Tinker. They made their home in Pilger and enjoyed traveling, camping with friends and playing cards.
Surviving her are husband, Tim, her children, Ron Smith of Norfolk, Lynda Rees (and husband Jeff of Arizona City, Arizona), Penny Johns( and husband Greg of Osmond), grandchildren: Brandon Rewinkel, Garrett Rewinkel, Reese Johns, and Whitney Rees, great grandchild Rylie Rees, two step children, Matt Tinker( and family of Brandon S.D.) and Jody Tinker( and family of Omaha). Also surviving are brother, William "Bugsy" Spradlin of Plattsmouth, and half-sister Annedra Seffrin of Omaha and friends too numerous to list here.
She was preceded in death by her parents and half-brother Richard Saxer
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Research Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
