Cynthia Fae "Cindy" Hamilton, age 46 of Randolph, entered Faith Regional Health Services Hospital on February 4, 2010 and died on Thursday February 11, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was born July 14, 1963 at Osmond, Nebraska the daughter of Lester and Julia Judy (Roland) Meier. She attended Laurel, Belden and Randolph grade schools and graduated from Randolph High School in 1981, Cindy attended NECC in Norfolk for one year.
On June 20, 1983, Cindy and Bob Hamilton were united in marriage at Yankton, South Dakota. She worked at surrounding Nursing Homes, as a Certified Nurse Assistant and recently working at Jerry's Hilltop and Plainview Manor. Cindy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Randolph. Cindy liked to collect things. Amongst some of her favorite things to collect were snow globes, spoons, dolls and thimbles. She loved to read and listen to older country music.
Cindy leaves to mourn her husband of 26 years, Bob Hamilton of Randolph; 3 children Misty Hamilton and friend Adam Gould of Hoskins; Molly and Jason Weiss of Cambridge; Morgan Hamilton of Randolph; Parents Lester and Judy Meier of Belden; Stepchildren Becky and James Doerr of Bloomfield; Bobby and Kathy Hamilton of Holdrege; Lisa Hamilton of Bloomfield; Buckley and Toni Hamilton of Hartington; 17 Step Grandchildren; 21 Step Great Grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister Steve and Karen Meier of Wisner; Bruce and Linda Meier of Belden; Vickie and Candelario Andrade of Norfolk and nieces and nephews;
Cindy was preceded in death by her Granddaughter Alysia Gonzalez; 1 sister Diana; Grandparents Louis and Edna Meier and Glenn and Alice Roland; Stepsons Billy and Brian Hamilton; step granddaughter Jennifer Doerr; Step Great Grandson Keigan Harney and nephew Drake Meier.
